The sport of floorball is experiencing phenomenal growth in the United States.  As its popularity increases, we have been asked over and over, “Where can I play?”  While floorball is played in school PE programs, at sports facilities, in hockey programs, and various clubs across the country, the fact is, there really has been no organized effort to form floorball leagues for regular Nationals_SFvsCO_5game play.  All of that is now changing.  As the leader in everything floorball in the United States, we at GBK Sports have formed a new division.  Let’s Play Floorball USA (LPFUSA) is tasked with starting and operating floorball leagues across the country and running various floorball tournaments at the local, regional, and national level.  FloorballPlanet will continue to promote the sport of floorball and handle the sales and distribution of floorball equipment while LPFUSA will be involved with floorball activities exclusively.

Our primary objective is to develop floorball at the grassroots level.  This means organizing floorball leagues for kids so that eventually we will see regular youth floorball games being played in every major city in the player_2United States.  We started in North Texas and New Jersey in the Summer of 2011 and will offer our league model to anybody in the country who would like to see floorball grow in their area.  The growth of state and regional floorball leagues will eventually provide players for US National teams (men/women/U19).  Floorball is played across the globe with World Cup competition scheduled every year.  US-born floorball players will eventually compete on the world stage.  The process begins here -- with the local floorball league.

You can start a floorball league in your area and join our Let’s Play Floorball network.  We provide you with an outline of the steps to take and recommendations to make it a smooth process.  You find the location(s) to play, set up age divisions, decide on season parameters, prepare a budget, arrange for game officials, and coordinate the schedule.  Let’s Play Floorball USA provides online registration, scheduling, game results, and player statistics.  We also assist you with promoting your league.  For additional information about starting a league, Request Info

GBK Sports, LLC was privileged to host the 2011 USA Floorball Championship Tournament that was played in the DFW area in August 2011 at the NYTEX Sports Centre in North Richland Hills, Texas.  This tournament garnered national exposure.  Let’s Play Floorball USA ran this tournament.

Let’s Play Floorball USA has its own web site where you can find out more about leagues and tournaments (including the U.S. Nationals).  Visit this site for information and results:  www.letsplayfloorball.com

In August of 2011, Let’s Play Floorball USA and Floorball Planet, in conjunction with FloorballPro and Grassroots Floorball announced the return of the North American Floorball Championship (NAFC).  The NAFC was first contested in 2003 and was last awarded in 2005.  The purpose of the NAFC is to recognize the top club in North America  For more information, click the logo to the right:
