  • Q. How do I find out about floorball and what's the best way to navigate your site?

  • A. The FloorballPlanet web site is very extensive. It is divided into four major parts - Online Store for purchasing floorball products, Floorball Information where you can find and link to a wealth of information about floorball, Floorball For... where you can learn about the many ways floorball can be part of dozens of programs, and Get Involved... to learn how to participate in this fantastic sport.
    You can navigate to these sections from ANY page. Simply select the Site Menu drop down in the header next to the FloorballPlanet logo. This brings up the main navigation tree when you can quickly access any page.

  • Q. What about the side and footer menus?

  • A. On a computer, most pages will have a Side Menu. This menu displays the subcategories for the particular category you are viewing or a support menu. On a tablet or mobile device (and on product pages), there is no side menu.
    Every page footer has additional quick-link menu options so you can easily access these pages. On most pages (including product pages), you can see "breadcrumbs" which allow you to move back up the category tree.

  • Q. What is different on a tablet or mobile device?

  • A. Because of the smaller viewing area, a tablet or mobile device will not have a "sticky header." On a computer, when you scroll down a page, a header section remains at the top of the screen where you can quick select the Search function, access your shopping cart, account sign-in and your wish list. This header disappears when you scroll down a page on a mobile device. The regular header on a mobile gives you access to main navigation menu, search, and shopping cart.

  • Q. What about navigating your floorball online shop?

  • A. When you select Shop Online, you can choose our major floorball product categories -- Sticks, Floorball Equipment, Group Packages & Stick Sets, Clearance & Specials, Brands, Featured Products, New Products, Gift Certificates, and Floorball Club Discounts. Sticks, Floorball Equipment, and Brands all have subcategories. On these pages, the subcategories are available in a horizontal scroll just below the page title.

  • Q. How can I search for products or filter my selections to make it easy to locate items with the features I want?

  • A. If you type in a search term in the Search area of the header, you will see a list of products which fit your search criteria.
    Within most product categories which contain lots of items (sticks, floorball equipment, brands), we have "facet filtering". By selecting filters, you can limit the items displayed to quickly refine your search. For example, when looking at floorball sticks, you can filter by:
    • Stick Length
    • Price
    • Brand
    • Model Year
    • Stick Class (beginner, intermediate, elite, zorro, straight blade, kid, lightweight)

  • Q. How do you ship orders?

  • A. We utilize the major domestic shipping companies -- UPS and FedEx in addition to USPS Priority Mail. For international shipments, USPS Priority Mail International has proven to be cost effective and efficient. However, we have negotiated favorable international air rates with FedEx. Now, FedEx Economy International and FedEx Priority International may show rates LESS than USPS Priority Mail International and get to you faster.
    To insure accurate shipping, enter the 2-character postal code for the State/Province. In Canada, if you spell out the province instead of using the 2-character code, FedEx will not display as a shipping option. For example, enter "QC" instead of "Quebec" in the State/Province shipping address for shipping to Quebec.

  • Q. I'm having my order shipped to a business. Is there anything special I should note?

  • A. Be sure to include the company name when you are entering the shipping address.

  • Q. Should I choose FedEx or UPS for an order shipping to my home?

  • A. UPS Ground delivers on weekdays only. FedEx Home Delivery will also deliver on Saturdays and Sundays with no extra charge.


  • Q. What delivery guarantees and tracking options are available?

  • A. FedEx Ground/Home Delivery and UPS Ground normally provide delivery guarantees (1-4 business days) depending on the delivery address (orders are shipped from Grand Prairie, Texas). Both carriers suspended their delivery guarantees during COVID-19 but their guarantees are now back in force. FedEx and UPS air shipments have delivery guarantees both domestically and internationally. USPS Priority mail normally has 2-3 day shipping time for domestic shipments and 6-7 days for shipments to Canada. HOWEVER, PRIORITY MAIL DELIVERY TIMES ARE NOT GUARANTEED! Be careful around the holidays due to the high volume of packages in the system. We upload tracking numbers to our site when your order ships so that you can follow its progress. Sometimes the post office provides excellent tracking, sometimes not. Once a package is picked up by the carrier, we are normally unable to tell you the status of your order beyond the information provided when clicking on the tracking number. Also, unless specifically requested, packages may be left for the recipient without a signature. These procedures are typically decided by your local carrier. If you are not comfortable having a package left unattended, be sure to indicate signature required in the NOTES field during checkout. Also, if you need your order delivered by a certain date, tell us in the NOTES field so that we can advise if you need to select a different shipping method.

  • Q. What about free shipping?

  • A. We offer FREE GROUND SHIPPING for orders over $100 that are delivered within the continental United States (Alaska and Hawaii excluded). Free shipping by USPS, FedEx Ground/Home Delivery and UPS Ground are available shipping methods when the products in your cart exceed $100. Free shipping does NOT apply to separately boxed goals (generally any goal that is not a foldable PVC type) and floorball rink products which cannot be shipped by common carrier. If you include one of these items in your order, shipping will be included for that item only.
